Expenditure : KRW 200 billion) (Project Duration) July 2021 – December 2029 (Site Area) 540,000㎡ (including the basic site area of 310,000㎡) (Facility Size) 69,959㎡ (Project Proponent/Research Institutions) Ministry of Science and ICT / Chungchungbuk-do・Cheongju City / KBSI (Leading)・POSTECH (Collaborating) (Project Status) ㅇ Accelerator and Beam Line (PAL): Technical Design Report (TDR) published (December 2023), TDR review completed (April 2024), Design Adequacy review completed (July 2024), Total project cost adjustment completed (October 2024). ㅇ (Infrastructure (KBSI)) : Working drawings and total project cost adjustment completed (October 2024). ㅇ (Site Preparation) 100% progress achieved in the basic site preparation (as of November 2024).
